A letter from Dec 01, 2024

Dear Yilena, Hello baby! Thinking of u! Sun, 1 Dec, clock just struck midnight… and my 18th is in less than a month! It’s my birth month already!! 17 was over so quick, but it was a fun year this year. I learnt a lot. It’s like my transitional period; metamorphosis. I think I was happier at 17 than I was at 16. I hope 18-19 is even better! Hopefully you’re doing ur law degree by now. Enjoy ur last teen year as best as you can! I’m studying the legal system rn… but I keep getting distracted. Count on me to do things last minute (as always). Exam is the day after tomorrow, u sleep every lecture, u don’t take notes, and u lock in the day before. Not the week before, the DAY before. Our future clients are DOOMED. Praying for them… they’re going to jail for sure. Jk. Believe in urself boo. Ur gonna be the best lawyer this world has ever seen, u know u’ll b **** good at it. Our clients r in good hands. Happy 19th love, I hope u know how to drive by now. As of now, We’ve got our license, but we r hopeless on the road, we’re a public safety hazard so I’m just chilling being driven around. If u can drive, u should go somewhere nice, go get something good to eat or do something fun. Go… shopping? Buy urself something cool. I give u permission to spend, so don’t even think about it, just treat urself, consider it a gift from me. Hv u got a bf yet? …gf? That would b unexpected (not) but hey… u never know. Jk If (hypothetically obvi) u do get a gf, she better b the baddest ***** alive… if ur gonna b *** at least make it worthwhile ykwis I’m sitting for our first ever uni exam for us, which is pretty cool. We’ve come so far! I’m so proud of us. We used to have no direction at all, and now look at us. All the ambition in the world. I should probably lock in, so I can ace this exam. Wish me luck!
