A letter from Nov 28, 2024

Dear FutureMe, I hope you have been able to unlearn some of the voices that you internalized, the cruel words, mean jokes, and blatant lies the world has told you about yourself. I hope and wish and pray that by this time, you have made abundant progress in your healing journey, and that you no longer feel the need to change yourself to suit others. That you are able to accept the love that is given, unfettered, and return it in kind without taking it on as another burden for your soul. I hope that you are able to look at yourself without crying with grief for all that was lost, all that never could be because you didn't know better. Most of all, I hope that you are able to believe that you are worthy of all the blessings you have been given and so much more. I love you, today and always. Me
