Dear FutureMe,
I hope that by the time you read this, you’ve finally moved on from Lexi and Donghae. It’s hard right now, but I know you’ll find the strength to let go and heal. Remember how much it hurt? Use that as a reminder of how far you’ve come.
I hope you’ve become an academic achiever, someone who makes our parents proud. If you’ve reached that point, I’m so proud of you. But if not, don’t be too hard on yourself—use every failure to keep pushing forward. I’ll always be watching over you, through the good times and the struggles.
When life gets tough, just remember that I’m cheering for you. You deserve happiness, so never stop striving for it. Keep smiling and be proud of who you are becoming.
With love,
Your Past Self
