A letter from Nov 18, 2024

Dear Dave, As I write this letter to you today, on our 21st monthsary—November 18, 2024—I can't help but imagine what a year from now will feel like. Will we be together in Cebu, just as you promised? Will we be living the life we've dreamed of, side by side, taking on each day with all the love and joy we can? I hope with all my heart that we are. Right now, I miss you more than words can say. Every day without you feels incomplete, but I know that love like ours doesn’t fade, no matter the distance. I often think about you, and I pray for your safety, especially since I know you’re living on your own. I can’t wait for the day when we’re no longer separated by miles but living life to the fullest, just like we talked about. I hope when you read this, you’ll look back at how far we’ve come and remember that this love, this journey, is worth everything. No matter what happens, I want you to know that my love for you is constant and growing. I’m always sending you my thoughts, my prayers, and all the warmth in my heart. I trust that you are taking care of yourself, even when I can’t be there to do it in person. I know you’re strong, but I wish I could be there right now to remind you how much you mean to me, to give you a hug and make you feel all the love I have for you. Wherever we are a year from now—whether we’re together in Cebu or still apart—I want you to know that I’m grateful for every moment we’ve shared and for the love we’ve built.
