A letter from Nov 15, 2024

Dear Shane, I’m writing this to you on November 15th, 2024, with the hope that it gets delivered to you a year from today. We recently decided that we are moving in together soon and I cannot tell you how excited that makes me. To have a sleepover with my very best friend every single night?! What a dream. Falling in love with you this year has truly been the easiest thing I’ve ever done. You are the kind of man that is only found in cheesy Hallmark movies and rom-coms and I cannot fathom how I ever did anything to deserve such a love. I promise to always encourage you to pursue your dreams & to help you become the best verizon of yourself. That’s what we do for eachother. My hope for you in the next year is that you would take a lot less pressure off of yourself and know that you’re exactly where you’re suppose to be. Who you are is more than good enough for me and for the people around you, too. You are the most intelligent, kind, and thoughtful guy I know.
