A letter from Nov 15, 2024

Dear FutureMe, I hope you’re a trainee solicitor! And married! And have a house! I hope you’ve got an amazing husband but hope you’re not pregnant just yet 😉 even if you haven’t got any of those things, I’m so proud of you for still being here to even read this. And even if there’s no one in the picture… guess what. Just say Alhamdullilah. Because remember, He is the best of planners. I hope your salah is on point. I hope you’re still wearing the hijab. I hope you still are close with your friends 🩷 We worked so hard but also… we deserve REST! Which is what I’m doing as I write this. I’m eating a tuna sandwich with 1 sliced bread because I’m trying to lose a bit of fat xx and I’m watching From. Feisal introduced me to the show. I wonder if he’s the person you married? If so - CONGRATS, because at this moment in time, I think he’s an amazing guy ♡ who’ll make an amazing husband ♡ and an even more amazing father ♡ I hope he (or whoever you’re with) has been supportive of you, treating you wonderfully as you deserve. And don’t forget to spoil him with your feminine qualities too! Take care of him and love him. Don’t forget your soft side. And remember at the end of the day, you know in your heart your intentions and you tried your best. You know you tried to do right by everyone especially mama and baba. And also… YOU HAVE NO ONE TO IMPRESS EXCEPT FOR ALLAH SWT. Regardless of how the Dunya is treating you right now… breathe… and say… Alhamdullilah. For the good and the bad. All of it. Our final destination is Jannah 🤍
