A letter from Nov 11, 2024

Dear FutureMe, This is you from the past! I’m currently having a rough week considering Trump just got re-elected and patches just died, but other than that, everything has been going well! I’ve been so upset over patches dying, and I’m sure you still remember having to put her down and the emptiness you felt afterwards. Maybe by now you have a new fur baby to take care of. I’ve currently been dating Jack for about 5 months and everything is going great despite the distance! I can’t wait to see him when he comes back for thanksgiving. I hope you guys are still dating because he is just amazing, but who can even tell the future. I have a feeling you guys are still together👀 I hope you don’t suffer as much grief as I have this year but at this rate, there’s not much more grief to have since everyone pretty much died (not to jinx anything or whatever). I hope you have made it through school and going off to live somewhere new like you always wanted. By the time you get this, you’ll be finishing up student teaching and thinking about what the future holds. I’m proud of you! And I’m proud of myself right now as well. We’ve been doing really good recently:)
