Dear FutureMe,
My husband left for Europe two weeks ago, and I’m doing surprisingly well. I’m currently frustrated with work, it is challenging and hard, but I do like it at my new elementary school. I am frozen with fear so I have not started to study yet, which makes me feel like a failure.
I’m trying to not let it get me down, give myself grace. I hope in a year’s time I will have taken the exam and passed, after studying for 2 months.
In a year’s time, I hope to be pregnant or to have adopted a child. I hope things with my husband smooth over, and he is comfortable in his skin and we continue to grow together.
I hope in a year’s time, I will be happier, more confident, and that I will take up my instrument again.
In any case, I sincerely hope you are well, and enjoying life! You are ever-growing, and being the best you can be.
