A letter from Oct 19, 2024

Dear FutureMe, I'm sending this my junior year of highschool, october. I figure you'll be graduating today :) Right now I'm in a bunch of animal science and human sciences classes, and planning on going into veterinary sciences. I have no idea if I'll stick with that though. Dad got let go from his job about 3 weeks ago now, and Mindy says that we'll probably move to Oregon once I graduate. Right now, Bekah is my absolute best friend, and I love her to bits and pieces. I hope you're still friends with her and Brooklyn. I also hope this year wasn't too tough on you, I've been worried about it. All of my friends are seniors and graduating this year, and it feels like I'm being left behind a little bit. Right now in band we've won first at every competition besides BYU which was our first comp, and swept nearly every competition as well. It's been really fun, and Im super grateful to be able to do it with Katie as my co drummajor. Though right now, there's lots of drama happening in our friend group because Katie has been leading both Tim and Gideon on and it's hurt them. Funny how this seems so big right now but you probably won't even remember it. My pronouns right now are they/them and I identify as a lesbian. I don't know about my gender- non-binary or agender? I don't know. I'm queer and I like girls, that's about it. I hope you can find a partner. I wore a tank top outside for the first time and felt fairly comfortable in my own skin. I hope I can continue that. I'm planning on starting to go to the gym with Tim and Gideon once the band season is over, and to also start pottery classes with Mindy (which I'm super excited about) I still can't draw people very well lol. All three of the kitties are still here- I'm currently typing this while snuggling with Lilly. I really hope **** works out for us. Good luck babe ❤️
