A letter from Oct 15, 2024

Dear FutureMe, I am a freshman right now, and I’ve scheduled this for right before sophomore year. I still hate being alone and I wish I’d gotten to go to school with a single person from middle school. I want to experience high school with Gracie. I hope I had a good freshman year. Right now my pr for 50 free is 41.25. Also, I’m still stuck on NPC, even after everything, even after hardly knowing him. I have a few friends, I hope I make more though. I’m nominated for homecoming princess, and it would be very cinematic if I won. I hope i figure out if I’ll take Spanish 3 or principles of law. I know that principles of law would look good for law school, but I really do want to be fluent in Spanish. I wish I got attention from boys. Gracie has gotten four guys and she’s just as new as I am to her school. I’m everything people sing about, and it’s not enough. What is enough? I’ve been driving, hopefully I’m a better driver whenever this is read. I really want a part in the one act play. I hope my audition will go well. I miss my old English class. The people in this one don’t think critically and we don’t read or write anything of substance. I would know - I think deeply, I’m a published poet. I desperately want to be an actress. I’ll continue giving these wishes to God I guess.
