A letter from Sep 26, 2024

Dear FutureMe, I am currently in a very boring writing class right now and I thought I might as well go ahead and write a short little letter to you. I realize you might be like,”Oh no you can’t do that, you’re supposed to be doing an essay.” I’ll tell ya what you goody little two shoes, I accidentally finished this assignment weeks before it was even released! How did I manage that? Not exactly sure myself. Anyways, writing this is more productive than playing snake which let me be honest, is looking real tempting right now. Plus I look like I’m working on my paper. Real sneaky right? Anyways I’m already bored of this so at any moment I might stop writing, just to let you know. I changed over from glasses to contacts the other day. So far not a whole ton of reactions from people. I’ve gotten a couple compliments from like Mom and Mamma Sue, but nothing beyond what can be chalked up to having to like it. The majority of times it comes up it’s just a,”Oh did you change over to contacts?” Which I respond with a,”Yup.” and that’s the end of that. A couple of people, namely Cal and Luke, have expressed their distaste for the change. I understand of course, I had been wearing glasses for the last ten years up til this point, but they don’t have to be mean about it. *insert sad violin music*
