A letter from Sep 23, 2024

Dear FutureMe, I’m in the car and feeling bored. I remember writing a futureme email to myself like 2 years ago and it felt like I didn’t write enough. I’m still close friends with You nee but because we are in different classes and I’m kinda stuck with Jing Pei, I don’t get to talk to her a lot but nothing changed when I do get the chance to say hello to her. I’m not sure if I’m blaming Jing Pei for always sticking with me every break and lunch. Plus, I feel obligated to respond to whatever she says while I converse with other people. I’m cool with Aidan. I think he’s a really good friend and I don’t want to lose an extroverted guy like him. Also Chun Jien, I hope you don’t cut contact with him since he’s graduating this year. Text him hello when you see this email. Did I make any new friends? Hang out with Astin? Probably a relationship lol (please don’t let it be a malay). I find Aryan kinda cute but I don’t know how to talk to him at the moment because I’ve been sleeping later than 12am the past week. When I get my driver’s license, I want to drive my siblings around from time to time. I’m not planning on driving every day, the cost of gas is too **** high. Did mummy actually get me a Mini Cooper though? It feels hard to believe she would honestly since I’m not really excelling academically. I’m an B average student and I feel mediocre for it. Did I go on any student exchange programs? I wished to go somewhere in Europe or Australia. If I did travel, did I talk to anyone outside and take pictures with them? That would be nice, I’d be very happy if I did do that. Btw did I get lean? I’m still trying to stay consistent in the gym. My schedule was a bit random so I’m losing the habit of going to the gym. Please do one pull up for me atleast. All I hope is that I went out of my comfort zone to do things I didn’t know I’d enjoy. Please find a goal to achieve, I have so many years ahead and life is too short to do nothing. I wanted to study forensics science last year because of my fascination with blood (it’s not, I had a Lookism phase). Now, I’m interested in engineering mainly because I made a sofa for RBT lol. Academic-wise, I’m thinking of going to that community college in the US from a flyer I’ve received during a small convention in school. I didn’t do research on what it’s good for though. Mummy told me to study for A-levels after SPM, you better do okay. Jia you!!! In the back of my mind, I have this feeling of going into business. Maybe because I enjoyed being a cashier, I could write orders **** fast and talk with juniors easily. How are Mummy, Papa, Qally, Madhi n Kayden doing? I hope they’re doing alright. I think this is enough writing. I don’t want to write a whole essay but I might read this and ask for more because I might not remember what I’ve done in the past. Yourself, Zahara
