A letter from Sep 21, 2024

Dear FutureMe, When you receive this it will be a year in the future. You’ve had your cats for a year and two months! That’s insane. I’m so glad I was able to adopt them. In all honesty, I don’t know what to say here. I don’t really have any questions to ask. Right now I’m laying on the couch researching about domestic short hair cats (what breed Sol and Nyx are) and that’s about all. I cooked a lot this weekend. Monday I have my first therapy appointment. Tuesday they go to the vet again. How are you? How was first year? What’s looking at you now? I’m pretty curious, honestly. There’s a picture enclosed of the babies as kittens. Are they still that small a year later? The articles I read said they’d be at or near their full size when you receive this. Does Nyx still like chasing bugs? Do they still cuddle? And yes, you’re 20 now. Absolutely insane. In a few months you’ll be 21. I’m tired. I’m going to head to sleep.
