Dear Dani,
Wow congratulations! I can’t believe you’ve made it here. Graduation! It must feel so surreal, standing at the end of this chapter, the end of St Paul’s, and the beginning of a whole new one. I’m so incredibly proud of the journey you’ve been through to get to this point. Every late-night study session, every challenge, every problem you’ve overcome it all, and you’re here now, all graduated about to turn 18.
I know the future is scary in front of you. But let me remind you: the future is coming. No one doubts that. But don’t let it distract you from what’s right in front of you. The future will get here when it gets here—there’s no need to rush or stress about it. Focus on today, on this moment of achievement, and let the rest unfold in its own time.
And remember: It is what it is. Some things are beyond your control, but you have the power to control how you respond, how you grow, and how you move forward. Take each step as it comes, one at a time.
Good luck in uni girl! I know you’re going to do amazing things there, just like you have up until now. Don’t worry too much about how everything will turn out, because it will, in the end. Trust that life has a way of working itself out, even when the path isn’t perfectly clear.
I’m proud of you, beyond words, for the person you’ve become and all you’ve accomplished. This is just the beginning of something even greater. I love you sosososo much and I wish you the bestest of luck.
Lots of love,
The Dani that is just starting sixth form.
