A letter from Sep 12, 2024

Dear FutureMe, I am 19 years old, its september 12th 2024, and im sitting in my room with Laska. She slept in my lap for an hour or two until just now. My closest friends are Veriko, of course, Peighton, and Ayisha. I've been working at Atmosphere for about 2 months and I'm looking for other work right now. Going to Banff is a potential plan. I hope that in a year I get my documentation and am saving up to at least visit Veriko. My birthday is coming up soon and ill finally be 20. A young adult. I am so excited by the opportunities i will be able to accept, as i know I am surely to find them everywhere i go. I hope you celebrated 9/11 lol. I wonder what kind of frendships you will create and grow into, what kind of adventures you are surely going to find. A year is a long time and yet it feels like nothing at all. This past month i finally admitted that im a trans man and always have been. I hope EMDR therapy brings out the best in me so that the things i can change - do change. I hope you have lots and lots of money; and i hope you feel alive. I love you very much, see you next year.
