A letter from Sep 12, 2024

Dear Future Self, Happy birthday! You’re about to graduate. How do you feel? What has changed? We just celebrated our 1 year anniversary with Samuel. That camping trip this past weekend was so fun. Do you have a ring yet? What are the plans for grad school? Smushy is still small, though I’m sure by the time you get this he’ll be so big. He’s lying on my stomach as I type this out. Give that cat lots of pets and treats for me. I’m sure you have a lot of worries, but if there’s anything we’ve learned, it’s that we have the skills and strength to get through it. Everything always turns out okay. I’m rooting for you. Stay calm, stay smart, make good choices, and know in your heart that all is well. All my love, You from 2024
