A letter from Sep 11, 2024

Dear FutureMe, This is about when college starts right?? Idk man years are hard lmfao Well Ello Ello Ello!! Im writing because oml Ive just started the basic process of looking into future colleges and this **** terrifying, like HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?? Top schools atm are Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech (Rlly reaching), MAYBE UC Davis- and Purdue... Dw I can alr tell I'm reaching WAY too high- I just really don't want to go to UNR. If I'm being honest, it fits all my criteria- but I wanna leave Reno so badly. Top Major idea is Aerospace engineering (kinda specifically aeronautical cause not sure if I wanna do space stuff) and maybe civil engineering and some kind of of finance/ business minor. If I wanna go more in depth on my 'plan' T-T Then I would like to join the national guard to both help pay for tuition and just cause the military rlly intrigues me. Dream career is Pilot- but like is it worth spending so much money on college to get a career that dosent even need a degree?? like that money could go towards getting a flying license. Any what if Im just not good enough for either? I feel like Im alr falling behind- my grades are good but I dont have enough extracurriculars and AP classes. I dont really wanna move across the country for college but I also wanna live on the east coast. Its so far away. I just cant imagine a world where things end up ok. EUNGH SORRY- you are probably WAY more stressed about this whole thing than I can even imagine. At least Emmas doing it first- sounds bad but im thankful for the thing I have cursed for my whole life. How is she doing anyway? This is what I mean by going ******* crazy- the future is scary and I know you probably dont have this much more figured out that I do- good luck i guess. Best thing I can do for you rn is keep my grades up- might be hard but its not like I have any social life atm.
