Time Travelled — 12 months

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Good morning. Yes, it is 10:52PM and you are just starting out your shift. Everything is great at work, by great I mean you are thriving well and at no risk to be redundiated soon. At this point, I am confident that you already know, understand, and accept that the only constant is change. You've prepared yourself well now, without compromising your peace, and letting go of the fear. Surrendering the plans you have made to Jesus, and just do your **** best every single day. I am proud of what you were and what you are becoming. 2022 you were at the brink of calling it quits, just a finger hanging on to that ledge. 2023 you somehow deluded yourself to the idea of love that you reduced yourself to fit the shape of the person you were with. You dodged a bullet there. Honestly, can you really imagine yourself settling down below bare minimum. Yep, I don't think so. 2024 you woke the **** up and started to truly embrace the stranger that you have neglected for so long, the one who stuck up for you through thick and thin, the one who broke down and got back up with you, the one who waited the storm with you, the one who talked you down when you feel spiraling. That stranger is you. Thank you for now thinking about you. I learned at 32 that life happens. **** happens. Accept and move on. Life is to short to linger on the things that do not matter. To hold to people who want to let go. To look at others and be subjected to ill-vanity. You are doing great. Keep at it. Balance in all things. Love, Yourself
