Time Travelling — 12 months

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Happy Birthday!!! 37!!! This past year has been about building and patience. Building myself up, building the boys up, building my career. We moved to New Brighton in November. I looked around to see what businesses were around us and the New Brighton Community Center is like 2 blocks away. I went on their website and applied to work at the front desk and wouldn’t you know the week of thanksgiving I started working. In March I was offered a position as Manager On Duty along with front desk so I know has 2 jobs at the same building. In May I started applying for other positions that were posted internally for the city. I interviewed for a parka position, didn’t get it, a position at the dmv in the passport department, didn’t get it, applied for an office assistant job at the public works building….got it! So in the span of 6 months I moved up 3 times in the city of New Brighton. The job is so perfect and the guys I work with are helping me look for a car for winter so I don’t have to have car payments and can put the money toward an apartment for me and the boys. Literally everything is going amazing. I’m learning to just have patience with life. Everything will happen when it’s supposed to happen. In the mean time I’m just going to keep doing the next right thing. Chris and Jac and Daddy were all here on the 4th and me and the boys and Mommy and all them went to Top Golf in Brooklyn park. It was the first time we have been together for our birthdays in decades. We got a picture of the 4 of us and it really healed part of the little girl inside me. It’s been a beautiful year and birthday. I love you so dang much and am so proud of our accomplishments 💜💜
