Dear FutureMe,
I just received the letter from last year, and I must say we were clear on our goals and what we wanted to achieve. Today is September 5th at 1 AM, pretty late, but I felt the need to reflect. I've been consistent with learning how to trade using ICT concepts, and overall, I've kept up, except for this past week, which felt rushed and unproductive. I haven’t watched any ICT videos or worked on the charts lately. It’s not about laziness, but my mind hasn’t been in the right space. I don’t want to disappoint myself, so I promise to get back on track by Friday and finish what I started.
Otherwise, I’m doing well and hope you are too. I hope by the time you’re reading this, you’ve found your footing and the courage you’ve always wanted.
1. **Speak your mind**: You’ve always been shy, but I hope that by now, you’re confident in yourself. Don’t rely on or depend on others to define you. I believe the Irene reading this on September 5th, 2025, is intentional, self-assured, and caring towards herself.
2. **Believe in yourself**: You are capable. Whatever goals you set your mind to can be achieved. You’ve worked hard to become a disciplined and consistent trader, not just for quick gains but to build a career and a business. Losses are part of the cost of doing business, and profits are the rewards. You’ll find your edge and niche in the market, and you’ll be the best version of yourself.
3. **Keep learning and trusting**: You’re constantly growing. I pray you’re surrounded by a community that appreciates your efforts. Your expectations should be for yourself, trusting in both God and your abilities to navigate your career.
These are the things I aim to accomplish this year, and I trust I’ll return with good news. Time management is still something I’m figuring out, but I hope by now I’ve become specific with my goals—knowing exactly where and how I’ll earn, the edge I’ve found in trading, and the clear path I’ve set. I’m asking God to guide me, but I know that prayer alone isn’t enough. I need to show up and prove that I truly deserve this.
Lastly, Irene, I hope you’re patient with yourself. Overthinking doesn’t serve you. Speak up if something bothers you, and don’t stay in situations that don’t bring you joy just to avoid conflict. People come and go, but don’t let that fear hold you back.
Remember Proverbs 3:5-6: *Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.* Trust that God has everything under control, far beyond what you can imagine.
I leave this letter hoping you’ve pulled yourself together and accomplished at least one or two things from our list. I don’t want to face disappointment next year.
I love you, Irene.
