A letter from Sep 03, 2024

Dear FutureMe, How are you doing? I'm not doing all too well haha. Everyone is leaving for uni so many people are already gone and I already feel lonely. As you know, I'm doing my first year of medical school here, at home. Yay! It's okay though I'm doing what I love. It'll be hard but I'll power through. I came home from the dentist today, only 3 weeks left of Invisalign I am so happy, you'll finally have straight teeth when you read this letter, that's something I'm looking forward to! I'm looking forward to a lot of things. I got home today and I was crying, because of a lot of things. I started balling my eyes out in the park on the way home because I was thinking about that one lady with brain cancer, you know who. "Live like you're always young, live like every day is your last, like tomorrow is your last day", the words I will forever live by and that I will never let go of. Mommy really comforted me this morning. She made me laugh when I thought I couldn't. I am so lucky to have her Hopefully I'll be in Paris next year, living with my best friend. I miss her so much how have these past few days without her been so hard already. Who knows maybe I'll read this with her in a year's time. I'm also so excited for med school, I'll be in class with this one guy I've been snapping with haha we'll see how that goes. It'll actually be fun, I'll have my new tech and study everyday. I kind of miss having a routine, I need to get my **** together. I've had so much fun this summer, I genuinely think it's been one of the best, for the books. I'm looking forward to more summers like last one. I can't wait for you to read this, I can't wait to be you- I just know you will have the best life and find peace and be surrounded by love. How was your first year of uni? Stressful I bet but I'm sure you made it. Just remember his words he told you when you saw him for the last time. Hopefully you'll see him again one day. He's the first one who made you feel loved romantically I'll forever cherish that. I love you so much, Be kind to yourself, You deserve everything you've worked for and more, Past you
