A letter from Aug 27, 2024

dear future me! this is so weird to be writing something that i wont see for another year, it feels surreal? anyways, how have you been? i know by then you'll have basically finished your first year of university and hopefully going back to camp for the summer, so i'll pray for a good year for you. this past week has been hard for me as ive been struggling with myself about my a-level results as well as packing for uni and dealing with boy problems (i guess that'll never change about us huh, there's always something happening) which i know doesn't seem like a lot but for some reason it's been hitting me differently these past couple days. im scared about moving out for uni. im really worried about how my brother will be when i leave him and my mam, i know theoretically they'll be fine but i cant help but overthink it? it's not like our university is really far away from home but that's not the point yk? anyway any new movies came out that have interested us? i've been DYING to watch the new deadpool & wolverine movie but haven't had the chance to go see it in the cinema yet which is devastating, as well as that have we seen anything in the theatre yet? our university is quite literally a 5 minute walk away from it so the distance can't be an excuse for not going. although i guess if there's nothing good on then there's not much point?? besides that, are we still friends with the same people? i hope we are, but i hope we've also made so many more friends at uni because it would be pretty sad to just walk around alone yk but whatever ig??????? it's been hard to get to where i am now in terms of my mental health, ive gotten a lot happier these past couple months and i hope it's the same in the future too. never a goodbye, but a definite see you later! your past self <3
