A letter from Aug 25, 2024

Dear FutureMe, Its August 25th 2024, 10:21pm. I will be a freshman in high school in about 9 hours and 27 minutes. That's insane. Wdym I'm gonna start my freshman year, crazy. Tmrw will be the first day of high school and you should receive this message on August 24th 2025, hopefully the day before your first day of sophomore year. I cant believe I'm starting high school, its not as big as being a senior or starting college but I still think its lowkey kinda cool. Ik friendships change over this first year and people have told me this a million times but I don't wanna lose these people and idk I'm scared. I'm scared for change and I think that's okay. Everything will be okay. These next 4 years are gonna go by so quick so to future me I really hope you enjoy it. (I HOPE U STILL LOVE NOAH KAHAN BC HES AMAZING). I hope you found or I hope you'll find some good friends who make you feel included and not just there watching people talk. I enjoy knowing and being friends with everyone, but being a floater friend sucks. Keep being nice to people, keep your friends close, people change and I hope you know that. (will forever love S but pls no repeat of that incident). Life changes but that's okay! keep your head up and love others but trust your frickin gut pls. Its only gonna be a year difference but yk that's still a lot. I'm starting this new swim team, its not new bc I was on it 3 years ago but I hope I still love swim and I hope that my feeling and thoughts don't make me quit. I love swimming. No matter what happens, remember your roots. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed the season and had fun being a junior coach for summer swim. I hope you had fun your freshman year. Anyways, I hope I don't get lost tmrw morning, I hope you have so much fun being a sophomore. Enjoy Yourself!
