Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, I hope you are doing well. I know coming to college was scary but I hope you’ve found your people and feel at home. I’m excited for our future in nursing, and I hope you’re still working hard to achieve those goals. Most importantly, I hope you have learned how valuable you are. I know this moment in which I’m writing to you is hard, and you’re constantly wondering what you’ve done wrong for others to leave. But I hope you’ve come to learn that you’re amazing and unique in your own ways, others actions are a reflection of themselves. Never forget how smart, loved, beautiful, kind, and determined you are. I pray this last year has taught us many lessons we needed, and although it hurts you WILL make it through. Don’t stop chasing your dreams. Don’t stop trying to make mom and dad proud. Don’t stop fighting for other first generation college students. Be the light, be a voice, be an inspiration that anyone regardless of where they come from can succeed in whatever they set their heart on. I pray you are doing okay and this letter finds you well, with all my love, Emma.
