Dear FutureMe,
By this time, we should have already finished our master's program. I'm assuming you've finished, as from where I'm standing right now, I'm terrified by what I may have gotten myself into and have serious doubts as to whether I will last. I realized about a week ago that I'm basically taking the same program that Maggie did. Still, she's the evil version-- people who sit in offices miles away from the places they manage, who make decisions for people who create the funds that pay their salaries. I'm on the ground floor, and instead of being a cog in the machine, I'm hoping that you've learned how to engineer your own machine. If you have, I'm so proud of you. If you're still holding on to that man and you succeeded, I'm proud of you. You have finally outrun all of your demons and made it to our promised land. Don't forget to write another letter after you receive this one, to the FutureUs that breaks ground on the new venue. I love you, don't give up.
