A letter from August 17th, 2024

Dear Katie and Jason. 
by the time of this being delivered you will have just celebrated your 2nd anniversary! I cannot believe how I lucky I am to have met such an amazing man. the one I only ever dreamed about in books and movies. and to have Jesse's blessing means even more to me. Jesse is still a big part of your life as your best friend now instead of partner. we still live in the same building but Jason and I may be buying a house soon! maybe in a year we will have achieved that! Future Katie, don't lose hope. don't lose sight of the positive things in life and in your life. you won't always be ill and sick all the time you will get the answers you so desperately deserve. I pray that when you read this we will have gotten our answers and a new treatment plan going forward. I'm so proud of you for making it through another really challenging year. but you are amazing and strong and nothing can take you down.
