A letter from Aug 14, 2024

Dear FutureMe, hey so its august 14, today marks 122 days and the day you reading this it will have officially been a year since Jaime passed away i know your doing a great job at keeping his memory alive and he'd be proud of how far you've come and when your reading this it's been years but another thing that happened the day after was you left our house and never looked back idk if your still struggling to open up about your fears from that day but i know i am right now a lot. I'm starting school in less then a month and ill be officially a junior in high school which means everyone around me is talking about plans for the future and i just got to sit there because everyone else has family that's gonna be there cheering them on for graduation family that helps support them in college to cheer them on in life and tell them how proud they are but i wont have that. Ana's mom took me in and I'm so great full but I'm not dumb i know this is only temporary once i grow older ii wont have that support anymore and I'm scared but i know your doing okay and better because you've always managed to do great on your own your whole life you've felt alone so now is no different but i hope you found help and someone to talk to about our fears by now i hope you've got a stable job and doing so so great in school i know you proved everyone that doubted you wrong and your gonna do great in college studying criminology your one true passion i hope that if you are dating someone that he's everything you could've ever wished for that god brought him to you and your in the best type of love and i know this is dumb you know but hector always promised to be there the day of your graduation and i really really hope he is because he's your biggest love and the person who knows you the most out of anyone in the world and while ana's family will be there for her graduation and just out of pity for you. he's the only one that will be there to cheer you and only you on to support you and show how proud of you he is so i really hope he completes his promise. that's all for now I'm struggling right now but i know you will be okay by the time you get this take care be careful and always try to see the good in people because that's one of our best qualities sincerely-past self all love for you and Jaime watching you from up above
