A letter from Aug 14, 2024

Dear 26-year-old me, I hope you were able to overcome your fears and that you sought help for your medical issues that were causing you a lot of stress and were making life uncomfortable. Although the specialists that you consulted in 2022 indicated that the entire process would take close to three years and you wrote this letter only two years ago, I hope you are closing in on the end of the process. Heck, maybe things worked out in your favor and you have already finished it. Are you still enjoying your job in IT? When you wrote this letter, you were just about to finish your first year at the job, which was also your first job after finishing your bachelor's degree. Did you get that pay-rise that you felt like you deserved? Have you been able to get your own place, that dream car that you always wanted? Dear 26-year-old me. Two years ago, you were crushing it in every aspect except one. Those dawning medical issues. I sincerely hope you sought help and got them fixed, or are in the process of doing so.
