A letter from Aug 11, 2024

dear future me, happy 18th birthday!!!!!!! how does it feel to be officially an adult? what's your first order of business? i say you should get a tattoo. how've you been? was high school hard? worth it? did we experience everything we've ever dreamed of? is college campus life still the plan? have we done anything big that we're really proud of? are you happy? am i being dramatic or are you still struggling? most importantly, do our friends stay with us the whole way through? i hope the disney trip goes well! right now i can't wait for the freedom you have. i plan to make the most of it. if i could tell you just one thing, it'd be that i love you. i know it's hard to believe sometimes, but it's true. and i hope, despite all the **** i'll probably put you through, you love me too. have a good life for me.
