A letter from Aug 11, 2024

Time Travelled — over 1 year

Peaceful right?

Dear Future Esco, Today is August 11, 2024, four in the morning. How are you? I hope you have been well. I hope life is treating you kindly and that you are surrounded with love. You are currently 18 when you wrote this letter. You are still haunted by the decisions you made when you were sixteen, and is still longing everything you lost when you were seventeen. But at eighteen, you have tried your best to shape yourself with these experiences. You promised that you will respect and treat yourself kindly by forgiving yourself and not staying in your mistakes. I hope you are able to do that now. By the time you receive this letter, I'm sure you have lost and gained a lot of people that carried a lot of experiences, both the good and the bad. By this time, you have probably regretted a lot of decisions too. Maybe your mental state right now is not on its best. I hope you know that you have been there before too. Maybe not entirely the same gravity as what you're going through right now, but know that you've felt hopeless and heavy countless of times too but you've always met your silver lining. It takes time. Let time do its magic. Its okay to go back and remember. Its okay to hurt. I hope you genuinely move past it. I hope by this time, you have learned how to accept and give genuine and gentle love! I hope you figure yourself out and what you want. Are you still connected with the person you have today? Right now, you have exactly what you want and is in the set up you've always wanted. Would you still be feeling the same way by then? Would everything about how you love change now? I'm curious! You're no longer a kid esco, i hope you finally learn how to settle. I hope you no longer do the decisions that have ruined you. Please love. Thats all im wishing for you. Love has always made you kinder. Please continue to love, to heal, and to remember. Love, past esco.
