A letter from August 6th, 2024

Dear Future Me,
First off, Hi! How are you now? I am writing you this letter because I know many things can happen in just a year. Just like how we got our billion problems, dropping out of school, losing all our friends, our glory days, moving to another country, miscarriage, and all our properties being stolen because we trusted so much - all happening in 2023. I told you, all that stuff shall pass. We just gotta have faith in Him. Let go and let God. You just proved to everyone how kind and strong of a person you are. Our old life is crumbling to make way for new blessings and beginnings.
Congrats self because by this time you graduated and earned your degree! Thank you for not giving up on us. You know we needed this to grow as a person and this will open us up to a lot of possibilities. Either you are working now at a law firm, you choose to become a healer, to work with kids, or you are a business owner again in this foreign land utilizing your knowledge. You need to update me on this one because you are full of surprises. 
I am so excited for our future, self. I can see you enjoy cooking and know a lot of recipes by now, doing all things by yourself. I bet we have our own house now again and fixing the children's bedroom is our first renovation project.
How close are we to our mission to have our own charity? Please don't steer away and give up on that dream because God gave it to us. We will continue living being of good service to our fellow life companions. My family will be so proud of me.
