Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, You got rebaptized on July 21st. AKA the best decision of your life! It's been about three weeks since this happened, and I am writing to you as you are about to enter college. Why get baptized? Jesus saved you not only mentally but physically. On March 6th, 2021, you were going to **** yourself. You had been sad for so long and you truly believed there was no hope in your life. You were not even 13 years old. As you sat and cried and told yourself this was it and this was the night you were going to **** yourself you looked up and said, "God please help me" and you stopped crying. The weight of sorrow and guilt had been lifted off of your shoulders and you finally felt like you could breathe. That one simple request took you into realization and you became aware of how nonsensical all of this was. Jesus saved your life and nothing I ever say or do will ever be powerful enough to express my love for him and how grateful I am that he loves me. Psalm 40:2 "He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and the mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand." Mentally, you have not always been the nicest person, to others or yourself. The days you started surrounding yourself with God's people changed your perspective on life. Everyone is someone's baby; everyone is God's baby. Help them and love them. 1 John 4:11 "Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another." This is currently my favorite verse. I think it is so important that we just take a second to realize we are all trying to survive our days on the world and that we just need to be a little more patient with each other. You are much happier, healthier, stronger, and smarter ever since you found God. Even though I always had access to his greatness I didn't fulfill that until recently. I will never forget how Jesus has changed my life. Why: I got rebaptized because I had done so many things that were against God and I couldn't forgive myself for them and because I had finally found my love and security in Christ. I wanted to demonstrate my commitment to him and make the final connection with the holy spirit. Philippians 4:7 "And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Jesus now guides my heart and allows me to love people even when they can't love themselves. Always remember to be kind. Verses of hope; Philippians 1:9-11 1 John 5:4 Hebrews 13:5-8 1 Timothy 4:11-14 Colossians 2:13-15 Ephesians 6:20 Galatians 1:11-12 1 Corinthians 2:5 Micah 4:10-12 Psalm 17
