A letter from Aug 04, 2024

Dear FutureMe, Hello love. Yesterday was our (My, Yours?) birthday and I have to say, it was boring. I thought maybe for one birthday i'd stay home and just hangout to see if i enjoyed it. I didnt. there were moments where i was sad, because all my friends were at lolla, or out of the state. I cannot be more grateful for a 20th birthday. I wake up with two gifts every morning and its my eyes. Mashallah because I drive a new Volvo, I have ac and running water, I have food in my fridge, I have the opportunity to take summer classes before I attend a private university. I feel the sun shining on my legs as I write this, My head is a bit itchy but still. Life is good. Am I struggling financially? yes lol, but it'll be resolved with time. Its never permanent, quite frankly nothing is. Life, love, struggles, happiness, sadness, loneliness, It never sticks around too long. So as I write this on my new mac book, I am sitting in the back of a 1.2 million dollar house i get to call "the house I grew up in" , with my family swimming outside, I realize that I'm going to be okay. Life gets tough yatta yatta but you will persevere. So to anyone reading this, because its public, and to 21 year old me. Stick it out, life is always worth it. We'll be okay, just put yourself out there and let the wind guide you. If you need to hear it, I am proud of you, and I love you you are so cute and beautiful you dont need anyone other than you to tell you. Cheers to 20! ill see you in 364 days AG
