Dear FutureMe,
I have some self-realizations for you.
Sometimes, I think I'm a quitter.
But then I realize, I have a valid excuse for that.
I prepare well, even though I doubt my capabilities.
Deep within my subconscious, I know I've worked hard.
But in that same place, I've exhausted my energy on preparation,
leaving none for the aftermath.
That's why I need to succeed in one go.
When I fail, I see it as a sign from the universe
that some things aren't meant for me, and it's time to move on.
I don’t know if it’s a toxic trait
or one that benefits me in the long run.
From your one year younger self.
