2 years ago today you had to start from scratch

Dear FutureMe, You felt crappy the day you wrote this, and used a stumbledupon site to set the goals that got you where you are today I hope you have been staying far away from the meth and have realized the profound effect that eating healthy and working out has had on your physical appearance and self esteem. Have you been enjoying spending time with Eden? She's just over 2 years old now! Can you believe it? 2! How was the last year for you? It was great for me - because the day I wrote this was the day I started doing the things I knew I needed to do. Today, I rested myself up - and put together a diet plan and excercise plan. I kept at it, and dropping 10-15 lbs a month, it was slow, but by Christmas I had already lost nearly 50 lbs. I also filled out my Fafsa and focused on getting my MCSE out of the way. I kept saving money as much as I could over this past year, and right now, I'm almost caught up with my past debts and working hard towards getting my credit fixed up so that we can get a house again for our family. Once I had all my probation and legal affairs behind me in January, I was able to really focus on good job opportunities to leverage the certifications I keep racking up and the experience I have in the field is really starting to distinguish my credentials. You know we were always good on standardized tests. Well, I may not have found the job yet, but I'm a lot closer - and just think where we were a year ago from when I wrote this to myself? Well - wherever you are - you are right where God needs you to be to learn the lessons you've been sent here to learn. You've come a long way - be proud and take good care of those two beautiful women in your life!
