Dear FutureMe,
I don't really know how to start this off, because I suck at letters, so hopefully I've improved in the next 2 years. It's kind of embarrassing, to be honest.
At the moment, I am 12 years old. My current favorite color is blue. My favorite song is 'Renato D'allara' by Los Campesinos!, which is also made by my favorite band.
I'd like to boast about how smart I think I am at the moment, so I can look back and see how over-confident I was because honestly I feel on top of the world.
My ELA iReady score was a 680. I am an 8th grade level, which feels nice, but I didn't get a bunch of attention like I hoped I'd get. Why do you think I'm so smart anyways? If I didn't care about how adults perceived me, I would've still been in 2nd grade.
My math iReady score was a 537. I am not proud of it, but it is my grade level, and I improved around 50 points since the beginning of the year so it's good enough.
I passed all my finals, my worst grade being a 92/100 which was surprisingly in ELA.
My one question is, did I ever get into the School of Rock? Did I ever pursue guitar? Maybe it has changed by now, but being in a band, or even becoming a producer or ghost writer would make me a happy woman.
Anyways, happy belated birthday. Being 14 sounds scary.
