Dear FutureMe,
I graduated high school two days ago, and I still regret not going up to Nathan and telling him, but that's OK. I hope at this time we have moved on and found something to distract our minds or a goal we worked towards. We will be starting Mount Sac soon, and I hope that we will be able to finish up and go to four years and make sure that it wasn't a waste of time. I know it's going to be hard, and I know it will let people down with the decision to stay here, but as of right now, I don't want to go because I don't feel like it's the right choice for me. But one day I will realize that I need to be living my life for myself and not for everybody else, and I hope that you have done that at your age or are close to it. Remember that you were beautiful, and I hope you are kind-hearted and surround yourself with big people who love you. I will be turning 18 in about a month, and you'll be turning 20 this year, I think. I hope life has been good to you and life continues to be good to you.
