A letter from May 22, 2024

Dear FutureMe, Hello My name is Ameyah and I’m currently 16. I’m writing this from my History class! My teacher is Coach Zimmerman. I guess I’m going to complete high school, I had so many ideas of what I wanted to do but now I’m clueless. There’s so many options but so little pay or there’s so many other options but I’ll end up miserable. I learned a lot this year but not just about history but about myself and I’m going to explore all the things I possibly can. I have many restrictions due to my mother but I’ll find a way around it. I currently don’t know what my goals are but so far my only goal is to graduate, hopefully. I want to be a decent person I’m obviously am probably not gonna be rich and famous but I’m gonna have a cozy life, I would love to move out of the country but I don’t know what country … I’m staying away from boys or actually, they are staying away from me but… now Not to be corny to whoever reads this? Besides me of course but I met this sweet guy and I kinda wanna write a note to myself about him because if we make it together and we’re still a thing I’d like to come back to this time.
