A letter from Apr 19, 2024

Dear FutureMe, I do a whole bunch of these so you’ll probably get a whole lot, but hopefully, you and Abby are still friends and your first car is a Kia stinger or better if not it’s ok. I’m organized right now and you better be. I’m doing this because it is a test grade and I care for my grades so you can graduate and go to UCLA or a good college. I want to be a pediatrician or an anesthesiologist cause WE want that moolah and a good future for us and our kids; speaking of kids please don’t pass the limit of 2 I know it's going to be hard since you grew up with hard to listen brothers. A lot hasn’t happened in 8th grade you still suck at math getting better but you still suck. My love life sucks because I keep attracting the wrong type of guys and all the Tay’s or Tae’s for future advice don’t date guys from Paris go to an island or maybe meet a guy in medical school because that’s your level of delulu. Stay by the standards of waiting until marriage and finding a man of God if he’s not that then he’s not it. Dad is strict with everyone especially me but hopefully, he chilled out. Mom is still the best we have a good relationship don’t let mom embarrass me during senior speech because I KNOW you’ll dislike her. In freshman do all the same sports you did in 8th and make sure you get all A’s I don’t want a single B, but just study VERY hard. In your sophomore year I don’t know what I want to happen sophomore seems like a very boring year and word so just do whatever you want while still making good grades and following Jesus and praising him. Your junior year I guess that’s about time you find a boyfriend if not wait until he comes to you don’t be out looking for attention. Senior year you should have your first car by then like I said a Kia Stinger, and I hope you and Abby graduate together let’s see how long she and Nate last while I'm writing this they already hit 1 month while you're still lonely in Mrs. Felker's class. I lowk don’t know what else to write so imma starting yapping you wear size 9 shoes let's pray to God that it doesn’t get any bigger. Since I already know what college to go to did you get accepted if not then you absolutely suck jk jk you don’t I guess if you didn’t get in then Texas A&M is also a good college or UC Berkley since we’re not smart enough to go to an ivy school like Princeton or Yale or Harvard because we wouldn’t make a day in one of those schools. I almost forgot to mention to you better we're good for sports because we need that scholarship more than ever, and I’m kinda good at softball did we ever get better if so then I'm surprised I want to quit my junior year if I’m not that good bc that’s wasting my time because I could use that time to practice basketball. Coach Finley doesn’t seem professional enough to be in volleyball throughout high school so quit after freshman year. Basketball is our life right now I love pushing people down and getting rebounds my dribbling isn’t that good but that's good because I HATE dribbling hopefully you still did basketball throughout high school if not then I'm very ashamed of you muy disappointed. As for the track, it’s a love-hate relationship hurdles have my heart I tried beating the school record of 49.83 I was so close with a time of 50.63 i feel we could break it in high school with a better track record of 46 you just need to grow your legs and the type of hurdles I’m talking about is 300 meter hurdles. Some questions for you did you grow above 5’4 did you ever get smarter at all? Love, your 2024 8th grade self
