A letter from Apr 14, 2024

Dear Future Eliot, we're 18 as of now, and hopefully, we will make it further. Cause we weren't supposed to make it this far,, and since we have. We're so lost right now. College is on the rise, didn't go to prom, and graduation is around the corner. I hope we get accepted to USI! We did get accepted to IvyTech. We plan to use IvyTech as a way to get into USI either way. 😂 the transfer method. Anyway, let's get to our classic questioning!! 1. Our number one priority, get therapy 😀/srs we keep denying getting therapy, and we know that sure as hell need it. 2. Get that autism diagnosis. And we are hella high-functioning. We already come to terms that WE ARE AUTISTIC!! Nana literally refuses to acknowledge that she has a "second problem child." And she doesn't want to believe I'm mentally ill or the very possibility of me being neurodivergent just because I'm out of therapy 😫. Boy, I am a people pleaser to its finest degree. 3. Did the name change yet again? We have gone by Eliot for nearly 2 years now? I know we keep names on the side, like Vincent - we use it for other gamed and such. We do plan on using it as our middle name whenever we legally change it. I think the same for pronouns. We still use they/them/he/him. 4. Bro, tattoos may have to wait. 😔 WHICH SUCKS. But it will be worth it, though. we are considering getting a Medusa, but we aren't sure. 5. Uhh, happy birthday to whatever age I will be in the future! Hopefully, you still use this email. 6. Do we have our own apartment? I hope we do cause we know we won't be able to afford a house, nor do we want to keep living with nana. 7. Did you get any other pets? Did we bring Cailie with us? If she's still alive, that is. She's going to be turning 10 years old this year! I really want to get a snake as a pet, like greatly! I want to get a hognose 😭. I specialize want ghost/or flase-ghost, banana, or lavender hognose! 8. I do hope things have gotten better for you out there! I hope we get correct diagnoses, better help, may be some new friends? We made at least two this year, more support, and may be find someone? BESIDES HIM. Boy, face it 💀 he ain't never gonna like us.
