Dear FutureMe,
Dear Future Self,
Have you maintained your faith in God and confidence in yourself? Have you made strides in improving yourself and excelling in your studies? Did you fulfill your dream of attending Med-school? Have you stayed focused and overcome obstacles? I hope all is well, and that you've achieved at least a Masters of Science in Health Science. Did you pursue opportunities in Brazil or Luxembourg? Do you now speak fluent Portuguese and how's your French coming along?
Are you still struggling financially but determined to experience life to the fullest through travel? Have you found that amazing Brazilian-Luso woman who shares your beliefs? Are you proud of your accomplishments, and is your family proud of you? As your 10th year high school anniversary approaches, are you prepared to reflect on your journey in front of others?
How is the state of the world? Is chaos increasing, and are signs becoming more ominous? Have you met Rosanna, and is she pursuing her dream of becoming a doctor?
I write this letter with anticipation and a touch of anxiety about aging. I hope you've found strength in your faith. Happy Birthday to you, and did you finally decide to cut your hair? Perhaps finding love was the reason to let go of those braids, but I hope you didn't do it just because of medical school pressure.
I pray that my mother is healthy and thriving, and that Roosky is excelling in medical school. Hopefully, you've become more involved in church activities and expanded your language skills beyond Portuguese and French.
I wish the best for Gaelle, despite her past ungratefulness. And to the girl who introduced me to this site, I hope life is treating you kindly.
If this letter finds you, remember the lessons learned and the growth experienced. Life may not have unfolded as we once hoped, but it's all part of a greater plan. At 28, you've come a long way since high school. May there be reunions to attend, and may financial worries be a thing of the past.
Did you strike it big with Ethereum, DOGE, or Rivian? Or did you miss out on BTC? Regardless, keep striving and believing in yourself. Remember, as children of Yahweh/Yeshua Hamashiac, we are fighters.
To Dr. Hicks and Dr. E, thank you for your guidance and support. You've been instrumental in my journey, and I hope I've made you proud.
Signed,
Rodney W. Bazile
