Time Travelled — over 2 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, We're going to do something a little differently this time. I've been doing 101 things in 1001 days three times already, and this is my fourth time. Each time, I have written a letter to my future self. This time, I want it to be public. I hope you are doing well and that you were able to become bi-coastal. Or maybe have a nice ranch or house by the beach. Just somewhere that is out of the city (even though you love it so much). Or still in a teeny apartment. But with a garden. I hope you were able to make your short film and became so motivated by it that you ended up making a feature film. I hope it was able to open huge doors for you. Because you deserve this. I hope you were able to get back into novel writing because writing stories has always been your true love. Never forget that. I hope you were able to get into a relationship with the guy your Straight Best Friend told you that you loved. Maybe you will get over the denial that you have been in love with him this whole time. I hope that he continues to make you happy, cared for, and safe. I hope you were able to make some renovations on your family home because you want to make your grandparents proud. They worked too hard! I hope you were able to do some more traveling. Because traveling opens your eyes to seeing the world in more ways than staring at it from a screen just won't do. I hope you were able to implement more of that "year of yes," saying yes to things that make you afraid and never having any regrets. Because everything that you truly want is outside. I hope you were able to let go of the feeling that you're not good enough, or that you waited too late to start doing the things you wanted to. Because it's never too late.
