Dear Future Maddi, Happy 18th, love. **** hit the fan, for lack of a better term, as I'm sure you'd remember. I hope the first year of holidays went okay after Poppy died. Just a week ago for me. Did we cry on our 16th? I hope not, that's kinda sad, especially with everything else that's gonna be happening then. Did we ever tell Bird how we feel (felt?) for them? Mom just told me today that she thinks they've got something for me, so I think I'm gonna shoot my shot. I'll probably do it on Valentine's Day if I don't chicken out haha. How are the kids? I know Leo and Laurel's baby sibling will be about two years old when you get this. What are they like? Did we get the kids into Descendants? Leo is eight when you're reading this, holy *********. And Laurel is gonna be six. ***, my smiley girl is gonna be in kindergarten. What are things like with our writing stuff? I'm gonna be realistic and say that we never finished Siren's Song, but one can dream, am I right? I hope you've figured out the massive plot hole between books 2 and 3 of the main series because that has been giving me a massive headache. Speaking of writing, did we ever use any of the concept characters? I feel like we had some good ones in the mix there, like Adelina and Libby. Cordelia wasn't bad, either. I still haven't figured out what I want to do or go to college for. Did we get into our dream school, whatever that is? That might be a sensitive question, sorry. Speaking of college, how are Amelia and Bird liking their schools? How are they doing in general? It's crazy to think that they're leaving in a few months, holy hell. Whatever's happened in the two years between you and me, I just want you to know that I trust your decision-making. You're me, I know you can take care of yourself. I hope our senior project is something awesome, and I hope we're doing okay. Love you lots, Maddi
