Dear FutureMe,
Hey Future Me,
It's February 5th today, and I just finished the second session of inorganic chem in the second semester. Quick background - I loved stoichiometry in grade 11, and I'm super eager to learn.
But earlier today, I felt a bit unsure while solving problems. It seemed hard, but I know that's normal. I'm aware that it takes time for me to get good at things. I felt like I could do it, but something was holding me back. Maybe it's the feeling that I should know the answers since it was taught in class, or maybe I just need more time to practice. It's probably a bit of both.
All I could think was, "I want to finish this session so I can practice a lot." I know it takes time for me to get good at something, and it stresses me out when others answer questions easily while I take my time in each step. I did manage to answer the questions, but it took me a while to fully understand them. There is always room for practice and improvement, and I am determined to embrace this ongoing journey of learning.
Now, it's 8:04 pm, and I'm heading to do some practice questions and re-learn everything from today. It's a usual routine for me. It's a bit disheartening how slow I am at these things, but I believe practice will make it easier, right?
I've realized it's okay for me to take in every lesson each day. There's always room for practice and improvement, isn't there?
Take care,
Andeng, Your Future RMT <3
