Time Travelled — almost 3 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, I’m 27 and I’m sitting in our old New Braunfels apartment FREEZING because for some reason this apartment has always been so cold. Do you remember just a few days ago we had a freeze warning? ANOTHER ONE IN TEXAS?! Calling into work that Monday had you going to work on your off day tomorrow, but I suppose it worked out. Today was a tough day, the typical commission check hit, and I hope life has put you in a position where you no longer have to worry about “what’s next.” For the past few years we struggled so much financially is crazy to even think YOU made it! Your bank account doesn’t hit the negatives anymore, you don’t have to ask friends for $20 along with “you’ll pay them back” because all of the hard work you’ve put in thus far has paid off. In moments where you feel like you aren’t doing enough, trust me… YOU ARE. I remember how excited yet nervous you were when you took the decision of moving out of state, how did that go? I hope we’re MARRIED AND WITH KIDS NOW!!! Israel is such a loving man, and I just know God put him in your path for a reason. Did you guys start a business together yet? Did you guys finally get to use the name Nevaeh for your baby girl? I can’t wait to know all about the family you’ve built. I remember there was a time where you had a list of “one of these gon’hit” ideas for businesses, I hope ONE or more have made you financially free. I’m sure TikTok is going just fine, I mean the life of a stay at home MILF has to be documented and I’m so proud of you for not giving up. I know Israel is just as proud, you both are leaving those kids something they will carry on and continue, a legacy. On another note… How did the AT&T days come to ends?! You have to tell me all about it. It’s crazy to think you followed Joey since 2018 when you started with the company, and well… all the way till 2024– so tell me how did it end!!! I know you’ll forever regret switching stores back in 2021 and staying at a store in which you were losing money rather than making. I hope now you put yourself first before the wellbeing of anyone else, and I’m referring to A JOB. But why would you even have to worry about a job if you are your OWN BOSS!!! The relationship you had with your mom back then wasn’t the greatest, I hope you guys are best friends above all now. I know you forgave her for leaving your dad, and for never letting you have contact with him. I’m sure she loves being a grandma. Speaking of dad… did you finally get a chance to speak to him? If you did I hope it finally healed your inner child. If you didn’t, I know you put the work needed in order to heal rather than hurt. I know it sucked, but if you look at the bright side your kids are growing up in a loving home, a home where they will never go without dad. Speaking of families, when did you get married?!?! I can imagine the ring on that finger girl, big zaddy out did himself huh? Wait, the real question is… did you give in on a big wedding?! Hahaha, I hope you did sis. You deserve it. Now and forever. I remember how much we used to want to give, to help everyone but you were never in a position to be able to. I hope God blessed you to where now you don’t only have the ability to help yourself but you’re able to help others. I know women everywhere look up to you. Trust me you did the right thing starting that podcast. I’m so proud of you for never being ashamed on hiding your emotions, it’s gotten you so far. I hope you visited El Salvador recently, and if so… how’s grandpa? I know he made it to 100. Did you get to celebrate with him? I hope you got the chance to. I know moving away so young was difficult and when grandma passed, it was so hard to forgive yourself. Grandma is still proud. I’m sure I’ll write more to you… but for now, this is it. Tell baby daddy we knew he was the one since the day he opened every door for you. Congratulations on life Ale, and wherever the world has taken you, don’t forget to be unapologetically you<3 i love you!
