Dear FutureMe,
At the moment I am in my second year of high school (sophomore) and I hope you accomplish all the things you've worked so hard for, I deeply wish you put hard dedication into graduating. There are going to be moments when you don't feel like doing anything and you want to laze around all day. Just remember the peoples footsteps you're following in didn't afford to take cheat days. If you want to be known somewhere or by someone you have to put in the hard work that comes along with it.
The time during my life right now is going by slowly in my opinion which I am thankful for. Although, I know that time comes with a limit as well, so I am trying to enjoy life as much as I can to the fullest extent. Some questions I have for my future self would be "Does the life you're living now match up with the life you want?", "How hard did life hit you after you wrote this letter, and why?" lastly "What are some new hobbies that interest you now?"
I know you think you've got your life planned out and you have very high hopes and big dreams but once you get a chance to settle down please enjoy life after high school.
To conclude this future me letter I've been thankful for a lot of people, things, opportunities, from last year and this new year 2024. One can say they're thankful for the main people in my life; My mother, my father, the oldest sister, older sister, older brother, and younger sister, younger brother finally, my stepmom & stepdad. Outside of my family, my best friend is very close to me and I hope she still will be when I am a senior.
