Hey, it’s me again!
Just a little update as I haven’t written one of these in a while and I thought I might as well for the new year.
I hope you’re doing good— unless you’re falling behind on your plan. In that case, I hope you’re miserable.
If you’re receiving this it’s because you’re graduating and I’m so proud of you. While it is the bare minimum to live up to your own expectations of yourself, I’m so glad you didn’t off yourself over that guy in 6th grade. (Jesus, imagine my grave saying “cause of *****: 11 year old boy said the wrong thing” or something. 😂)
Anyways please respond to this with the institutions you’ve been accepted to and the one you chose. If you chose a vocational or trade school, listen to your 14 year old self when I ask you to please, reconsider. I know people can be happy doing things like plumbing and ****, but really? Not for you, J.
Enough about you, let’s shift focus to me. I’m 14, which you could probably figure out by the date on this email, and my UW GPA is 4.0. W GPA is a 4.3, but I’m looking to improve on that.
I’m working my *** off (when I’m not sleeping) doing as much as I possibly can to impress colleges and seem like I’m super hardworking, so I can graduate early and still get into a semi-decent-ish university. If you’ve fulfilled both of these goals, you can thank me. You’re welcome. 😇
This year, I’ve joined the KWHS mock trial team and am testifying on behalf of the plaintiff as an expert witness in a civil case regarding the unfair expulsion of a made-up student at a made-up university. Basically my job is to stuff my skull with as much AI detection information as possible to support the claim that my girl, Alex is innocent. Luckily, Cameron Grey, has an education— which the defense’s expert does not, that can help build trust or whatever. Jamie Bossa is just a money hungry woman who thinks she’s better than everyone else.
I’m also in a few other clubs, but they don’t really require as much time or effort. A lot of them are just advocacy and stuff. I used to represent the delegation of the Czech Republic in model UN, but then academic challenge started conflicting with the meeting times.
This month I start training to work at the candy place on Duvall, River Street Sweets, which I’m super excited about because (1) money, (2) experience, and most importantly (3) I get to put it on my college application.
I hope to build up my hours to 40hrs/wk for the summer, since I never have anything to do during those months. To be completely honest, I think weekends should be Friday-Sunday so that the summer break can be shortened a bit. We’d still get the same amount of time at school, just distributed differently so that students can have more structured routines.
- J
P.S. quick honorable mention I just want to throw in here so you can remember to look her up online: Amelia Korzen.
