A letter from your tired past self

Time Travelled — over 2 years

Peaceful right?

Dear Future Me, I'm bored in my bed. I don't want to play The Sims 4 and I just took a nap. I could go on Discord and talk to folks there, but my "social battery" is empty. I'm enjoying my alone or rather my truly alone time. Let me explain (as if you didn't know). I spend most if not all of my days in my bedroom, only coming out to eat or use the bathroom. I'm living like a rat. My bedroom is my living room, study room, and kitchen all at once. For example, I'd say I left this room only four times. It's 5:44 PM. Yeah. My truly alone time is now. I have no contact with the outside world, whether through social media or the people living with me. I didn't even take a shower today. I avoid my "roommates" as much as possible. I don't want to be a source of trouble or criticism. Is it social anxiety? Maybe. Anyway, they barely saw my face. I'm still in my underwear and if it weren't so cold in the Bay Area, I'd be sitting at my table wasting my time on my computer. I should be studying for the written driving test, yet here I am, procrastinating and complaining about it. Well, it seems I'm starting to use this website like a journal, even though this letter will probably be public. How about you? Are you also withering away wherever you are? I hope you're out and about, like your past self. Maybe you even started organizing again. Anyway, have a nice day/night. As for me, I'll probably write more letters or find a way to leave my room to eat dinner. The sun has already set. It's cold out. Let's try to have a nice rest of our day. Writing this with an unwashed and unsavory face, Your Past Self.

Epilogue

Dear Past Me,

You're doing better. Way better!
In fact, you moved out of your city and you're living with five pets! It's a lot, I know, but you manage...
