A letter from Dec 01, 2023

Salutations future me! I hope this finds you well, I wrote this on 28/11/23 and 30/11/23 but it's going to reach you on 06/11/26. So now it's a birthday card to read your old thoughts that you forgot and how life used to be. I'll start this lengthy letter by explaining my rouitine so you can compare to yours right now. I start by waking up at 5:30 am and feeling like I need 4 more hours of sleep, then I brush my teeth and get dressed, next I lay down on my bed scroll on Instagram untill it's 6:05 am. I go to my desk and make by backpack and revise if I have tests and this usually takes 25 to 30 minutes. I go downstairs and make breakfast and prepare lunch. I head back upstairs because I usually forget something. I wake my brother up, and my parents. at 7:30 am and by this time im just waiting on everyone so I watch youtube with my breakfast. I go to school, I talk with friends and what not. After school I go back home and I go imidiatly to my bad and take a nap thats around 15 minutes but it's usually 30 minutes, then I put on my glasses and study or draw or sculpt something (mostly animals). Then at 9pm its dinner and I go downstairs with my brothers to empty the dishwasher and set the table. We then eat dinner like a family, after dinner we empty the table and load the dishwasher. Then I study some more after I take Rilattine. I watch some netflix and I just finished an amayzing sieries, Shameless, my favourite character is Mandy and Carl. I play games like Firewatch, TF2, Flavor Frenzy, minesweaper and tetris. Last weekend I went to the art academy with Julie, Heleen, Silke and Lena. Anke quit this year, I kind of miss her, she was funny but I still see her at school. The art academy starts at 9 am and ends at 12:30 am, I usualy bike as it is fairly close to home. Sometimes on weekends I party with friends and my older brother. They host lots of parties at the Laekelinden wich is only like 8 minutes walking so its really convinient. This summer I went to France (like every summer) but this time it was not in the provance! It was so secluded the nearest neighbor was like 10 kilometers away. It was nice but very loney and a week with only your brothers and family is not the most relaxing. There was a golf course down by the hill and it was basically in the backyard of the cabin/ house, it wasn't really a cabin, but it was the size of one. It was so hot there and we all sweat like crazy, I hope we still go on family vacations together Next week I have exams and I'm not looking forward to it but it's alright, at least it should be, I have too many clothes and so at the art academy on friday I give them to Lisa and Mia, they are amayzing and really funny, but I get the feeling they don't trust me, or atleast Lisa doesn't. I look forward to the end of the week, not because of the weekend but because I get to see friends that I otherwise never see, Mia lives in Brugge, and that is an hour driving but she still comes to art school and Lisa goes to Heilig Hart and I'm sad she doesn't go to KA, but thats life. Are you still friends with Mia and Lisa, or Assia? Are we all going to collage together like we said? I hope so. By the time you are reading this I expect Engris to be out the house and Zeger to finally have a girlfriend or something, I want both of them to have the best life, I hope Zeger has got a stable job and a regular friend group that treat him right, instead of my friendgroup. And I hope you also have a boyfriend or girlfriend, I don't care which, as long as they treat us right and not an *******. I like a guy from my friends class, did we ever get together? Zeger has always been a busy beaver, but is he still that, is he still as bright, is he happy? I hope he is Engris is not one to throw in the towel, he is strong and has been through a lot, and he's autistic (is he still/j) Karlien and Joachim are poles apart but love each other so much. I hope they won't sell the house, like they said they will. What do you think you're going to study? I bet we will go for Germanic Languages. What are we learning in human sciences? My grades are pretty bad, I even got my report card and I have 5 F's. I need to study harder and more. I get to go to the KMS (koninklijke militair school) for an internship for a day, and next year if I want I can go for a week! I'm so excited. It's going to look badass on my resumé! I work out everyday and I can do 50 sit ups in a row without stopping. I am playing tennis on and off. I like ice skating and want to do it more. Well, that's it, it's officially now 1 thousand words, so if I actually really did have the patience to read it all, hello, welcome to the end of the infamous lengthy letter. I just want to say something that you should really hold dear, 'There are two ways to live: you can live as if nothing is a miracle; you can live as if everything is a miracle', don't forget where you came from.
