A letter from Nov 04, 2023

Dear FutureMe, I just read a letter from myself on November 3rd 2020, and it didn’t feel like it was me. I didn’t recognize the tone or how I had written it at all. It might as well have been a stranger. I might be a stranger to you when you read this too. I’m not sure. I laying in bed next to Miles who is fast asleep, and the longer I’m with him, the more I realize that this is it. I told him all the little things I love about him, and it felt so right to say. Regardless, hopefully you’ve changed and you think of this version of yourself as a kind stranger. It’ll mean you will have grown and changed. I hope life is well and that you are happier than I’ve ever been cause that’ll mean we’re good and it’s working out. I love you dearly, Isa
